The Mady Kaye Quintet, Saturday, January 28th, 2012,
from 6 to 10 p.m.
The Contemporaries of the Cultural Activities Center (CAC) in Temple, Texas, are having An Affair of the Arts. The elegant evening will feature a catered dinner, live and silent auctions, as well as entertainment by the Mady Kaye Quintet. The annual fund raiser provides funding to support the performing and visual arts, with a major focus of providing opportunities for children.

Saengerrunde Hall is a classic old German singing hall from the way back, beautifully restored, with a perfect dance floor.  I can’t think of a better way to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with your dancing partner than to hang out with us!

For those of you who haven’t had your Austin Carolers music fix and need to shop, we’ll be wandering around inside this mall at 183/620.  Let your ears lead you to the music! We start on the ground floor for the first hour, head up to the second floor for the second hour.

Tuesday, December 20th, 6:30 to 8:45 p.m., Mozart’s Coffee.
This is one fun evening,  folks. It’s the awards event of the “All About Texas Christmas Lights Photo Contest,” co-sponsored by Mozart’s and Precision Camera.

There are ten-minutes music/laser light shows at the top of every hour, decorations out the wazoo, and announcement of the winners of the photo contest, with their photos up on big screens.
We sing from 6:30 to 7 p.m., then again about 8:15 to 8:45, and on and off  in between.  Legendary decorations at Mozart’s, in addition to great coffee and treats. 3825 Lake Austin Blvd., next to the Hula Hut.

Thursday and Friday,  December 22 & 23,  7  to  9 p.m.
Caroling dinner at Chez Zee Restaurant.

Friday, November 25th, Round Rock Premium Outlet Mall,
1 to 4 p.m.
The Austin Carolers will be strolling around the mall, so find us with your ears! If you like to shop, this is a good choice. Plus you can unwind
with some tunes. IH 35 north to exit 257.

Friday, November 25th, Georgetown Tree Lighting Event,  5:30 p.m
This is one of our very favorite gigs. The Austin Carolers sing from the Court House steps, joined by swarms of eager-to-participate children. Parents like this a lot. It’s a very 1950′s Norman Rockwell kind of gathering, complete with Santa, hot cocoa and cookies, wonderfully decorated shops around the square.
Take IH 35 north to  exit 261, head east to N. Austin Ave and go left
until you see the Court House in a few blocks.

Saturday, November 26th,  Wolf Ranch Mall,  1 to 3 p.m.
For all you folks in Round Rock and Georgetown, here’s some more
close-to-home caroling. The Austin Carolers will stroll around the mall,
so find us with your ears. Wolf Ranch is on the south west corner of
IH 35 and exit 261.

Saturday, November 26th,  The Domain,  6 to 8 p.m.
The Austin Carolers finish off a lovely week end of singing
at this upscale mall, where we started our season last Saturday
night at their tree lighting event. The mall is dressed to the nines,
and we had a really wonderful time strolling and singing there.
